The red button pendant - known as the MyAmie Pendant - helps to give you peace of mind in your home that if you have an accident, you only need to press one button for help.

Introducing the Red Button Pendant

When you order one of our life-saving personal alarm systems you will also receive the MyAmie red button pendant. This small and stylish device connects to your alarm's base unit during the setup of the system.

You can choose to either wear the pendant around your wrist or around your neck. Both the wrist strap and neck cord come inside the box so there is no need to spend any more money on those.

The decision is entirely your choice, simply choose the option which is the most comfortable for you. The pendant is lightweight so you won't even realise that it there. Due to the weight and style of the red button pendant, many customers choose to keep them on when they go shopping or out with their friends.

The pendant has an excellent seven-year battery life and we will automatically receive a notification when the battery is nearing the end of its cycle. Once we receive this message we will send you a brand new replacement straight away.

Another great feature of the red button pendant is that it is waterproof. This means that you can keep your pendant on in the shower and in the bath - a time of the day when the risk of a fall is higher than usual. Careline365 would advise that you don't submerge the device in water for longer than 30 minutes.

You can also wear it outside in the garden thanks to its impressive range of up to 100 metres. This means you can still spend time outside in the sunshine with the knowledge that your pendant will still connect to your base unit.

What to do in an emergency

The great thing about the red button pendant is its simplicity - help is literally one click away. In the event of a fall or medical problem, the user just needs to press the button on their pendant immediately.

This will send an alert to our 24/7 care team who will respond by calling you through the alarm base unit's loudspeaker system. After assessing your situation they will contact your selected emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.

Don't worry if you can't hear the care team member as he or she will call your emergency contacts and the emergency services immediately if they do not hear a response from you.

You can select up to six emergency contacts when you purchase your personal alarm - usually made-up of family members, friends and neighbours.

Don't worry if you accidentally press the red button on your pendant as the care team are always happy to hear from you. It also works as a useful test for the system to ensure that everything is working correctly.

Additional Pendants

Another great feature of the red button pendant is that you can connect an additional device to your personal alarm base unit.This is ideal if you live with your partner or a relative , or if you simply want a spare pendant in your home.

Put simply, this means that you and your wife/husband can wear your own red button pendant and only have one personal alarm base unit in your home. Both of you are now only one click away from receiving help if you suffer from a fall.

You can add an additional pendant to your alarm when you make your purchase.

Our personal alarms are available on two different pricing options - the Yearly Plan and the Monthly Plan. The yearly plan costs just £125 - which includes three months for free! That's just £2.50 per week to have a life-saving device in your home.

The monthly plan costs just £13.89 per quarter with the first quarter paid up-front when you purchase your personal alarm. Both payment plans also include a £40 new customer fee which covers the cost of the set-up and administration fees.

The cost of an additional pendant on the Yearly Plan is £45 per year, with an extra pendant on the monthly plan costing £13.50 per quarter.
